Village of Ashville infamous for its dark past was reviving like a
Phoenix bird rebuilding the reputation that it had once lost. Ashville is forced to setback when the horror from the past has returned to haunt the place once again.
It began with the reports of missing persons and was later been found dead or charred to death in unknown circumstances within the woods of Ashville.
Most of these victims were women in the age group of 22. Some of their
bodies were failed to identify.
Rational thinkers among the authorities came up with the possibilities of a
psychopath. As it followed a pattern , that most serial killers do to make their mark. It is said that charred twigs emanating a
fetid odor were found in victims' houses before the day of their disappearances. Every missing case happened in the time between 11 pm to 2
am. There have been reports of sightings of a strange disfigured man
kindling in the woods during nights. Some locals says that the figure they saw had extra feminine limbs and seemed extremely unpleasant.
Before this strange evil that comes to haunt the nights, people of Ashville
shrank in helpless terror.
Authorities failed to uncover who or what is causing this massive chaos that leading the settlers to panic.
But few who carried Ashville’s ancestral history in their grey fallen head
knew the real cause and was afraid to utter a word about that evil they
knew.
The evil known as Baba Aagi.
Centuries ago their ancestors carried out trials, hunting down witches and
warlocks who believed to be the reason for the Harvest failures each year on
Ashville.
Among these, the most terrifying one was the trial of Baba Aagi the warlock.
Baba Aagi was regarded as the leader of the coven. He was the master of necromancy. He made human sacrifices to please his demonic deities. According to local folklore Baba Aagi preyed upon young women. He drank their blood, used their skin to rejuvenate himself and then leaves their bodies charred. It is said the Baba Aagi has the ability to manipulate fire, so he can turn his adversaries into ashes with the touch of his hand. So no one dares to enter the vicinity where Baba Aagi and his minions dwelled.
According to records, Ashvillers somehow succeeded in capture of evil Baba
Aagi .Since they were aware that fire cannot be used to destroy him, they used a different method to execute the trial. For this they arranged big log seasoned with holy water, tied and nailed Baba Aagi and his minions to the log, then buried them alive in a specially constructed pit deep in the woods. The Villagers of Ashville believed that by sacrificing evil to mother earth would help in yielding good harvest and would cleanse the land to prosperity. But before they could enjoy their triumph over the unholy, Vengeful spirit of Baba Aagi returned in a more ghastly form, causing massive death in the village of Asheville. The villagers were terrified and forced to get back into their houses as soon as the shadows began to lengthen. It was marked as the black days of Ashville.
Until the high priest of the village performed a special ritual to slay the evil
back to the abyss, they constructed.
Now centuries after, the horror has returned to Ashville.Why, what and who they do not know.
Maybe folklore Legend really exists or as the modern society declared, it is the just doing of a psychopath.
Whatever it is, the horror of Asheville has only one name and it is BABA AAGI
